ANZAC Service

​On Friday 22 April Brightwater State School held their ANZAC Day Ceremony commemorating the 101st anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli. We were lucky to have members from the Kawana Waters RSL Sub-Branch - Mr Kevin Hurman, Mr Charlie Hooper, Mr John Ford and Mr Douglas Warden attending our service as well as our Adopt-A-Cops. Students did a fantastic job of honouring our service men and women during the ceremony. Representatives from each class laid wreaths both during the ceremony and again after at our special memorial rock, which was kindly donated by the Kawana Waters RSL Sub-Branch.
