The Fundraising subcommittee is responsible for organising events and initiatives to raise money for the café and school programmes. Many of the events are held off campus and are generally involve a BBQ or other meal service. These events are a great way to meet people in the Brightwater community.
Examples of outside events have been the Stockland Neighbourhood Get Together and the Million Paws Walk. We also organise events which simultaneously raise money bring students and families together at the school. Examples of these events include the Family Breakfast and the Mother’s Day gift stall.
The Fundraising subcommittee is always on the lookout for volunteers to help at events, particularly those that take place on a weekend. We also sometimes need help transporting equipment to and from a venue. If you are interested in helping and would like more information on upcoming events, please email
