On
behalf of our school community I welcome you and your family to our
wonderful school. Brightwater State School opened its doors in January
2012 to students from Prep to Year 6. We are very proud of what we have
achieved thus far and excited about the possibilities that lay ahead in
terms of academic offerings and student development.
Our staff are a wonderful team of dedicated
professionals who are committed to offering families a high quality
education delivered within a disciplined, safe and supportive school
environment.
We have a genuine desire for each of our
students to love learning and love school and this remains at the centre
of all that we do each day.
We are a 21st Century school that firmly
believes in the 'old fashioned' values of manners, respect, courtesy and
self-discipline and we expect our students to treat each other and
their teachers with care and compassion each day.
In addition to this, we believe in every
member of our school community contributing to every child's learning
journey and as such we strive to establish positive
community partnerships with parents and community groups to
enrich learning experiences for our students.
